Good Move Jim. In my experience battery life without them is abysmal.

Finally got the weather I needed to actually ride. Wasn't far but good to get out

Picture with our new 2022 Civic with the elusive unicorn 6 Speed manual. Had to search for over a year to find it.

    We love it.

Im envious of your weather Jim, we were -44C on Thursday/Friday/Saturday. Froze the PCV system on my tractor and puked oil out the Turbo.

    Love the Civic colour !!!!!

Holy cow! -44C? Can't even imagine. We lose power here in TX when it gets to 0 C or it gets to 39C!

Yea, "cold enough to freeze the balls of a brass monkey" as they say -- there is a non vulgar story behind that old saying.

throw a cup of water in the air and it turns to snow instantly. Skin freezes in 2 minutes or less, frostbite is a real danger.

When my tractor leaked 2 litres of oil on to the concrete barn floor as a result of the PCV freeze, I scraped the oil off the floor with a shovel and it rolled up like scooping ice-cream.. NEVER in my life have I seen oil freeze before (rotella 10W30).

Nice Civic Jim! Our weather was nice as well, it was sunny and 68* out. Surf was epic on Saturday (7-8 ft). Took the Tuono for a jaunt to the autozone for oil filter. :)

The Civic is the hatchback one called the "Sport" model. It is not super fast (2L non turbo engine) but handles and shifts perfectly. We looked at the SI model (1.5L turbo) but they wanted stupid dealer mark ups of over $10K!!!! The SI does not come in a Hatchback version either. AND the Sport is the only way to get that Blue color.

A fun, driver's car. Stick, with a hatch in a unique color. Great choice.

    Thanks!
Cap'n I still love the 98 Honda Prelude I recently gave to my son. Granted it is old now but it has to be the benchmark for FWD handling and shifting.

The H22A4 VTEC engine was to die for!

Really nice day to get out and show some love for the mini-ceptor! Low(er) traffic on Sundays here in H-Town but still an adventure to ride in the city.
