When I ordered the cable, it showed available, but when I went back to readjust the order after being notified, it showed as discontinued.

I'm not really too concerned about it. Like I said I rarely, if ever, use it. In fact the only time I can remember using it was when loading the
bike into the toyhauler. It kept me from stalling the bike going up the ramp. Other than that I never use it. But I don't ride in temps under
    50° voluntarily anymore. :)

Motion Pro will make your longer cable.
My 5th Gen has 4" longer throttle cables by them. I've used their custom length build service a number of times.

This is how I repurposed the double clamp near the horn. The black hose nearest the horn is the OEM rear circuit and is untouched during this install. The new hose to its left is the short one going to the right caliper. I removed the rubber insert off the old front hose assembly to put around the new hose. Cutting it length wise down the middle of the flat side with a razor.

Thank you for the hints and tips. Always appreciated. I got notice last week that it has been shipped. Yay!

Just a quick question: why did they use two lines from the master cylinder instead of just sticking to one line to replace the OEM line?

The two hoses with the double banjo is an easier and cheaper solution. The VFR front hose isn't just one hose, it's an assembly consisting of custom fittings and a bent piece of metal tubing. The run to the left caliper branches off down at the fender with the tubing bridging the fork legs. Hurricane has simply moved this split point directly to the master cylinder by using a double banjo bolt. All they need is include two hoses of different length. No need for custom machined mounting blocks and bent tubing.

This is the Honda brake line assembly removed.

So it turns out you may be able to use the stock choke cable. A different routing would be required. I still have the stock choke cable left over from the install, and all I had to do was lift the gas tank to check this.

I laid the old cable over the air box so the pull end was directly above the enrichment circuit rail. I then put some tape on the cable in the approximate location where it would be coming out the left side of the throttle body.
    box.jpg
Instead of following the the throttle cables out the front under the frame as before, the new route would be to run it along side the airbox, and up under the metal brake tubing at the front of the tank. I taped the cable to the metal brake tubing after tucking the initial marked spot down in the area where it would be poking out from under the airbox. I taped the controls side elbow to the elbow of installed Hurricane cable.

I put the tank down and checked full lock right.
    Rlock.jpg
    This is full lock left.
    Llock.jpg
Swiveling the controls side elbow as needed may give a bit extra slack as well. If this turns out to work for you, I would put some electrical tape around the cable in the areas where it makes contact with the frame head and handlebar brackets. Just to give it some protection from potential chafing.

It might be more plausible than I first thought. I actually over estimated the length of the cable's black outer sheath that lives under the air box with that first tape mark. The bracket the outer sheath end groove clips into isn't that far right. It lives like two inches further back to the left. Only the inner cable end needs to make it that far right.

Wow, got my handlebar kit in today. Pretty amazing, ordered on the 3rd and delivered on the 11th, from Japan.

It's a good thing they did such a fantastic job of wrapping the kit because it looked like the box was drug behind
the truck the last 500 miles...and dropped from the plane at 1000 feet altitude. But despite their best efforts the
delivery service was denied final victory, as the parts were pristine. USPS has really dropped the ball, and my
package, repeatedly it looked like, over the last few decades. It's gone from a phenomenally reliable mail system,
in my youth, through middle age, to a slow, unreliable, bottom of the barrel mail delivery system.

But enough gripes, this kit is totally top notch. I'm really itching to get started and may have to back the truck out
of the garage and free up a little space, and get started on this bad boy.

Great! It is going to take some time, so don't feel rushed to complete it in one sitting. The last install I did was probably my smartest approach. I worked on it in chunks over a few evenings. Doing that made the whole process feel less daunting.

That is very likely how I'll go about it: a bit at a time. No rush, too cold to ride. :)

Ah, thanks for the heads-up, I may have to give it a look. I've been meaning to but a bit under the weather for the last couple weeks.

I'll probably end up ordering the cable, but the cable is $13, and the shipping is $22. That stings.

To make shipping more worth it,
Maybe go ahead and see if your Vibranators fit the hurricane handlebar. If not, toss some inner weights and bar ends on the order. I also ordered a spare set of throttle cables last Webike order I did.

LOL I actually thought of that myself, just to make the shipping a little more palatable. :)
