    Hi all.
Been having issues with my bike, 04 ABS 86K miles, cutting out in traffic and went to check for error codes.
Just want to make sure before I proceed with the fix/es.
Do these codes look 11 and 21 to your?
    Thank you.

Assume you have the diagnostic shorting link in and you are seeing old historical codes?
Yep looks like a code 11= Speed Sensor fault, and 21= No1 Oxy Sensor Fault, to me.
Both of these would not have any effect on your fault.
Suggest clearing these codes then re run your bike, see if any Active code is identified when the bike plays up, represented by the Fi Light fully on, then when stationary and sidestand down a flashing code will be shown.

Another thing you should isolate for an engine that randomly dies while riding, is to thoroughly check the function and wiring of the Sidestand switch.

    Hi mofo.
Just for info... If your Fi light comes On while riding it will mean one of two situations.
    1. Bike may continue to run but the ECM has detected a fault. When stationary and Sidestand Down, the fault code will be displayed.
    2. Engine instantly dies because there is a loss of main power to the ECM. Or a critical to running sensor has a fail state, a fault code would be flashing when SideStand lowered.

So, when your engine dies and if your Fi light is On and no critical fault code displayed, then I'd be thoroughly checking the ECM power source from the Battery, through Main Fuse B, up to and through the Engine Stop Relay, then on the Black/White wire to feed the ECM.
A faulty/intermittent Bank Angle Sensor could also cause your issue, by dropping out the Engine Stop Relay.
This power source needs to be confirmed rock solid when Ignition to On.

And as mentioned, a faulty/intermittent Sidestand switch or its wiring, will kill the engine instantly while riding BUT will Not bring on the Fi Light.

Note - If your Kill Switch was at fault you would not be able to crank the engine when pressing the Starter you dont seem to have any cranking issues when pressing the Starter switch.

Close observation of how the engine cuts out can help lead to a cause. If the engine coughs and sputters a bit, this might point to the fuel pump, raise the tank and make sure the fuel pump electrical connections are clean and good verify the fuel pump Ground wire IS properly grounded. The pump itself, or 12v supply through the Fuel Cut Relay may be intermittent.
Does the engine die only when hot, or only when hitting a bumpy section of road?

    Sorry, more to think about!!

    Good Luck.

Definitely good points grum and all will be checked.
It only cuts out while running and the engine is at working temperature. Will start with the side stand switch and go from there.
Cleared the codes yesterday, took it for a spin and acted normal, which has happened before and have noticed it happens after two days or so of riding it daily. It does NOT sputter and dies, feels like power loss just like when engine-braking and dies.
Will look at all the connections I can and check the grounds.
Thanks for your help and ideas.
