    Hi new to the forum!

Need some help with a project that Im doing, So I am converting a Honda vf750 to EFI,

My plan is to use the VFR800i RC46 throttle bodies to do it, however I need to increase the width of them to fit the vf engine.

But I cant figure out how they are joined? seem to be split-eble along the red line where you can adjust each plate from the other but they are rock solid.
Dont want to ruin the shaft either so anyone know how to split them? or is it not possible?

Also is the somewhere one can put project threads?

    Cheers//
    Julius

    Oh, please ! :Der:

    haHAHA :nelson:

YOU'LL NEVER get it done, too many problems, and it's not worth doing. pipe dream, waste of time and money.

i assume you're having carb problems ? if so, i can sell you a set that's clean and has new O-rings so you can get the bike running NOW, not in 5 years.

with FI the bike would never run stronger or better than with well-adjusted and tuned carbs.

Thanks for the support I guess.

No carbs work ok, doing this to have a fun winter-project and further challange myself with ECU mapping and to have some problem solving to do after work. Done worse engine swap project's in cars then this EFI conversion, first bike though.

Hope to prove you wrong by the summer. :)
