Hi all, I bought the new oil pressure switch from David Silver, and noticed on their website the correct Honda tank buffers. Mine are missing, I stuffed some old inner tube under the tank to try and prevent it chafing on the frame! So, I bought a pair. Can anyone let me see a close-up picture of their EXACT placement on the tank?
    Thanks, Tony. IMG_0186.jpeg

Should be right above the "V" of the fuel tank on the frame side I think. I know you want a pic, but I usually place my spacers where there is the least amount of gap, so the tank sits tight against the rubbers and frame.

I set mine on the turn in the frame, maybe slightly back. I think I have a tank that still has the factory "stains" from the rubber. I'll take a look.

But just like Rogue, I put them where it feels like they want to be but still are fully contacting the frame.

Cheers, we are looking at it now, so I'll check for witness marks.

Well, that seems good enough, first time since IMG_0189.jpeg owning the bike the tank doesn't wobble from side to side!

I think that's pretty much perfect. Keep an eye on them... sometimes they like to migrate (even if it feels impossible) and go missing after a while.
