I'm getting ready to order more OEM parts for my 2014. Mainly all the OEM parts for the center stand and the handlebar risers. I don't know if I will actually use these parts, but I am a big stickler for acquiring desirable OEM parts & accessories while they are still available.

On the bronze OEM Honda bar risers, do they use longer bolts or are the stock bolts long enough?

I am also considering the Honda OEM tank pad ($40 whaaaaat!), but I don't know what it even looks like. Does anyone have a picture of it? I'm hoping it has a Honda or VFR logo on it to make it worth $40 US.

Really, really enjoying my Interceptor and riding to work twice a week since I go it. Here in the USA it is "Ride your motorcycle to work day 2022", today (6-20-22). It's the 3rd Monday in June every year.

Frankly I'd get these instead: https://www.motopumps.com/shop/vfr-bar-risers
They are much cheaper, equal in quality, and compared to OEM more likely to be available. I have them fitted to my bike and the paint match is close enough. Both these and OEM will have the proper hardware to install them.

Agree with Vulcanator, not a perfect colour match but pretty close. I can’t remember if they use the same length bolts but if not they are supplied with the risers as I definitely didn’t buy longer ones.

Yes, the color variation is Honda's powder coat vs. anodized aftermarket.

Is this what the Honda tank pad looks like? The Honda description says carbon fiber tank pad and I found this one picture.

Don’t have the Honda tank pad so I can’t help sorry. I have a Keiti brand tank pad.

My used bike came with this conglomeration of pads ( yuck )! First thing I did was break out the hair dryer to remove.
I'm just looking for something that will protect the lower 4" where my jacket button or zipper my rub. My days of laying on the tank are over.
Maybe I will just go with clear protector film in the end.

I received my OEM Honda "Adjusting Plates" and installed them last week. It makes a huge difference in the riding position for me. I feel like my head is 4" taller in the saddle now too. Since I have a bad back and neck from years of construction work, I feel the difference in my lower back and also a relief in neck angle while riding. It's like a Beemer RS now. : ) I was undecided if the 18 mm. Honda spacers would make much of a difference when I ordered them, but now I am so glad I did.
