    Hey everyone

I'm a new proud owner of a 93 Vfrrr, I love the bike and all but I'm thinking of putting new skins on it. I'm hoping to make it look more modern, so that means buying new plastics from other Honda, or non-Honda bikes. I'm not really shooting for a particular look. Just want it to be modern and different.
So here is the weird question. Has anyone experimented putting any other plastics from other bikes on the VFR? I'm sure there would be modifications to the plastics, but anything that will be close to fitting on the VFR?

    Cheers

you definitely can do it. however, it will end up being a total pain due to having to fashion brackets and hangers to mount the new plastics. If you want to do it, do it.

however, you also might want to accept the fact that you have a 93. there's nothing wrong with that. i've never owned a new bike nor plan on it.
    cheers.

if you do decide to get new plastics, sell me your old ones. I would be more gladly to take them off your hands.
