Yes, I checked that too, Going to check the breather again too, # 3 and # 4 share a breather tube that "T"s off into each carb, while I have Ultrasonically cleaned all the carbs twice, I may need to check the vent hole in #3 carb body again just to be doubly sure. if that breather was clogged, for sure no fuel would flow, or not enough

Im still thinking its the Carb since all 4 were shitting the bed at one point and now its just #3 (which has been the most problematic one), but at one point even #3 was running ok, so IDK.

I think it will be another week before I get back to it, still lots going on here

Nope, not yet. Not been in the shop for almost a month. Valves are still on "the list". Just a gross lack of time lately. I'll get to them, they have to be checked regardless

Still not been in the shop much. been crazy busy here and my time is at a premium it seems. Too bad coz my first task is to just hook up the fuel bottle and try it with the altered fuel screw setting.

Cheers ! Ive also been dealing with pretty bad case of plantar fasciitis in my feet. Couldnt even walk for a while, so I still haven't even finished my fire wood that got delivered in Feb.

Anyway, that appears to be on the mend now, so hopefully I can get all my spring chores done (Firewood, build a new section deck to go where my hot tub used to be, new barn floors to build, a field to plow/disc /seed, fences to repair, etc etc etc) and squeeze some bike work in there too.

Most excellent. It takes some intestinal fortitude to deal with a seemingly unfixable fiddly issue, but you nailed it. Bike looks great btw.

Thanks for the support and advice fellas. Buddy of mine (also a collector) wants to add it to his collection, he collects Race Replica bikes.

That bad boy needs to have the full 1993 world endurance replica makeover. Not that I don't appreciate the Pepsi scheme, or the effort put in by Stray to get in the condition it is today, because I do. That project would require a full respray and sourcing a lot of parts that might take awhile to locate and actually purchase.

Well, Its likely going to the same place as my 2 VF1000R's. It wont see the road too much I dont think.

Kinda like most of my bikes, its too bad Insurance costs so much here in Ontario, Its getting a bit silly what they charge now. I got a quote on a new CB1000R $1600 a year !! most 700-1000 cc bikes are running 700 and up now and Im in my 50's

Next project will be the CBX750c -- New seat cover, windshield, paint, decals, and I have to split the engine cases, remove the transmission and replace the starter clutch. Likely wont start that until the fall.

The bike looks awesome...... depends where you live too, insurance for sport bikes is the worst, an older FZ1 down here will cost me $1800+. Sport touring category is much less, my VFR is $980, Versys 1000 is $1100. Your age don't count much unless you're under 30. I'm in my 70's.

I totally get what you're saying with insurance, insurance worth having costs a minimum of $800 a year now where I live and I don't have one over 450 cc's. I prolly could get away with less coverage, as they are all paid off and their are no bank liens requiring certain levels of coverage. That is the biggest thing that's holding me back from buying another one, at this point.

Your '93 is a prime candidate for what I have been considering as possible next projects, but I'm glad to see it's going to a good home. Ya did good, man, ya did good.

the 92-96 era of GSXR seems to be somewhat plentiful, at the most reasonable prices these days
