New guy, recently picked up an '09 in white/black, love the color combo

Just did a good clean and detail, as well as the Delkevic slip-on
Not too bad for a 95k km bike
I'll be doing some thorough maintenance to make sure everything is A-OK

Welcome to VFRW MisterVRT! That is a sharp looking bike. I've never seen a black stripe down the midst like that on a VFR before.

I think it depends on where you are. Around here, the 09 in this color had it

That colour combination was only available in Canada the one year. I don't think it was available anywhere in the USA. I am sure other countries had that combination. Canada is not as important of a market to deserve any special treatments.

Welcome to the wacky world of wayward wimps and drunken mods Mister. You have a gem there. And unless the previous owner had just totally run it into the ground, these things are very tolerant to poor maintenance, but very loving of good servicing. I am a little ahead of you with over 223,000 km. So change the oil and ride the bitch like a wet hooker from the down town east end. She will still love you and look after you when you want to ride again.

Any mistakes in the title of the thread, is there for eternity unless you get a moderator to correct it. I think it would be easier to convince Justina Trudeau that to spell it "Canada" is offensive to some unknown woman somewhere in the far east who has never heard of us, but might agree to immigrate here if Turdman promises he 1/2 million loonies if she agrees to come here, and have him change our country's name to Canda. Or maybe he just used the "Not withstanding clause" in our constitution so he could spell it any fooken way he wants. Turdman uses it so he can have in camera discussions in Turdsville to pass laws.

If prayers to Justin fail - I suggest you PM Reggie - offer some decent 12 year old whiskey and that typo is history.

In the meantime welcome :Welcome:to the Madhouse

That bike looks stunning for the miles :drink:. As Randy says with regular servicing that bike should be good for many more miles.

    Have Fun
