1986 VFR700F Starter Solenoid just clicks. Bike started fine a week ago. Battery at 12.15V. Switched solenoid with a spare from wrecked bike, same thing. Is 12.15 V enough?

Battery might not have any load left to give, even though it shows over 12V. Temporarily hook up a car battery (not running) with some cables and see if it wants to crank. You will have your answer.

Sure enough, I tried smaller auto battery and she fired right up. Took MC battery to auto store and voltage was 12.3'ish but cranking amps was about 8. In process of installing a new battery.
    Thank you.

best to check charging voltage anytime you need to replace a battery.
