Yeah I'd tend to agree it's a bit of a power trip going on. I'm going to try the stickers first. He'd said so long as I have a test booked somewhere in NI he will look at it for me.

So I'll out the stickers on, take it to him in Wednesday morning and if it passes great. If not I'll take it round the corner to a mechanic and get him to fit the dual speedo I've ordered off eBay.

Having complained though I do still feel lucky that I live in NI where MoT testers don't care about loud exhausts, I've a short can with no baffle and it is passed everytime. So got to look in the bright side.

Every single one of my bikes has a noisy can - (the baffles don't ever get put in) ... Never had any problem & I'm in West London..

So passed its Re test today.

I tried multiple sets if stickers but because the clock was in KPH originally it didn't have a lot of space for putting in multiple new spaces in a way that I felt was up to my standard.

So instead I got a 99p original clock off of eBay

Now to have the clock fitted the speed healer was removed as it had been converted to read MPH but using the original KPH clocks and I could only get a dual clock with KPH as the prime numbers.

So speed healer out, new Speedo in reads back in KPH as it left the factory but now with MPH on the small digits.

Not perfect but at least I can go out for my ride in Sunday.

Edit: Just to say thanks for the pointers as well folks, much appreciated.
