    certainly looks a comfortable riding position. Just what my bad back is calling for lol. just a pity the bars look ridiculous!

    Looks like they made a different upper triple clamp for those police bikes. The clamp has the risers cast into them, so this isn't some aftermarket hack job.

    hi so these kits seem to be back on Webike they riding position looks so comfortable ...so really torn here between this kit
    ( comes with longer cables and hoses ) and heli bars positives for both Has anyone fitted the police style bars ?

    Hello.

    Yes, I've recently installed the Hurricane Police kit on a 2000. It was an upgrade from Helibars. I will post a detailed overview later, but real quick.... Helibars are a slight improvement over the Honda OEM clip-ons. They offer decent relief but are very much still a leaning forward sport oriented position. The police kit completely erases the sport bike posture. It's a perfectly upright relaxed seating position. Combine the police bars with lowered footpegs like I have and it feels like a Standard position motorcycle. Anyone looking to move on from a VFR due to ergonomics issues really should look at the police bars kit first.

    I will post more, but here's the bars installed. The windshield cut, which is a requirement for this install, is a Givi D200S.
