Headlight bulbs

Hi folks, just checking this is the correct headlight bulb for a direct replacement....

H4 12V 60/55W

I'm happy with the way the standard bulbs light the road so I'm not too worried about getting anything different or having to cut tips off to fit different types.

Can't go wrong with that bulb.

 

Turns out the bulbs are fine, the switch just isn't 100%.

They come in 9 times out of 10, but occasionally when switching from high beam to low beam they cut out entirely for a split second. Not fun in the dark I can tell you

Open your switch and spray some contact cleaner in there and then some acf50 if you have it, worked on switches before for me with similar problems. Keep flicking the switch on and off and let the contact cleaner do it's thing.

 

Good shout, I've got acf50 sitting in the shed. Just need to get some contact cleaner too then.
