Hi there! Here's Artur from Poland. Just got myself an "old banger" RC24 with intention of restoring her back into the former glory. Would have to go through absolutely everything, having no slimmest idea what I should be looking for, or even what is exactly the model I've got to hold on. Hope I could avail a bit of knowledge here. Cheers and beers.

Welcome Artur .... I’ve spent the last year going through a 1989 VFR750FK RC24 so have a pretty good idea of what you’re looking at .... the Haynes manual covers the bike

Corroded fasteners were my biggest problem, pretty well all the parts are obtainable except fairing panels, although if you have all the bits they can be rescued

Thanks Thumbs. I should get Hynes so. I know Hynes manuals from my other bike and it does a brilliant job servicing a Beemer.

It is all pretty much complete ride, with a set of spare broken fairings and mirrors, luggage racks, bits and bobs. Originally, judging by them broken fairings, she was plain white but previous owner got her a nice pearl white job done. She was left unmaintained for a good while, as the tires show 17 and 19 years DOT. All the fasteners probably I'll get replaced for a new bit by bit. So called consumables can be deemed well consumed at this stage.

Missing passenger seat top cover. Is this a hard to come by part?
I wonder whether the origins are from the US. Indicators inmould on fairings stays solid on albeit working fine when required, clock scale is up to 180kph but no miles, 18-16 wheel rims.
