Welsh are affectionately knows as sheep shaggers or Taffs.

Well at least if its done its done. I will tell you this, when you go to collect it ask what the clearances are and what the ones in the Vtec ( the expensive bit of checking). In a perfect world you will be handed a sheet of paper with the clearances and shim sizes for each valve/Bucket Vtec

I did not see this before I went and picked her up yesterday, and I was in a rush, but good advise. She runs great and a cool shop and friendly true bikers (all wearing tats, Eating sunflower seeds and the token friendly bitbull included) that run it with staff of both sport and cruizers as a go to. $773 + Stupid Utah sales tax and I am good because it is better than $1300 from the dealer. I kn0w that I did it early and could have saved some money, But time is something I dont have so I paid for it. The only complaint I had was that they did not clean up the silicon around the head gasket.

$773 + tax is not too shabby at all for all the work you had done. Looks like they only changed a normal valve shim. At least you have the peace of mind it's all done. Enjoy the ride. Just ordered a Corbin seat and backrest for my bike, and Corbin have turned it around much quicker than expected. I'll be getting the seat on Tuesday but due to work I won't be home until early April. Look forward to trying it out.

Great news Valve check now out to 38400kms as I have just clicked over 25000kms.
Few years back I did the valve clearance check on my ol Yammy YZF600 which was relatively easy, except for the head gasket staying in place. I ended up putting a fine bead of grease around the head cover to hold gasket in place, then a quick wipe away of the excess once torqued.
