Im gonna call this one done for now.

Had her up and running for a while and shifted her through the gears today and all was fine. True test wont happen until I can get her on the road.

She is definitely running well with this other set of Carbs on it.

No more oil leak so far and I have run her more than yesterday, so thats a good sign. Looks better with the Hindle header pipes in black and the newly painted silver frame too.

PS the towel was on the floor to protect the belly pan when I slid it under (forgot to move it before I took the pic)

    Alright!

Silver looks good. Headers much better in black.

I need to get may ass in the shop and get some shit done. Been posting slot cars on eBay for some bike money. And the Hawk project has been taking up some of my time. I think I'm gonna have to build a make shift paint booth in the outer garage too.

Thanks Guys, im hopeful that its all good, once I can try her under load.

Onto some other bike work now.

-NS400R needs coolant O-rings and a fuel leak fixed
-Aprilia RSV Factory needs forks seals and clutch slave seal
-Ducati needs a quick adjustment to the Fork height
-M109R is getting new harder engine mounts up front

But something tells me this work wont see me through till March. Im gonna need another project, but im not traveling out of my area due to COVID, so unless something local shows up, im gonna get stuck doing work in the house.

Still one the best looking bikes. But I'm "old" and biased. RC30 is #1 for me. Or NC30, whatever

A lot of new bikes are ugly as shit.

And, "Hey you kids, quit having fun! And get off my lawn!"

The R is a beautiful bike for sure. I wish we got the more scalloped fuel tank that the European bikes got. Makes it even nicer. Bike below belongs to my E-buddy Nigel in the UK. You can see the nice tanks they get. Nigel was the fella' who was kind enough to take lots of photos and very precise measurements so I could accurately paint my bike in the European colours. Id still like some red bullet back mirrors for mine.

So purdy. I so wish we got that tank too. But nooooooo... Americans are too fat. And stupid.

This 1000R that I rebuilt "had" those red mirrors. The remnants are somewhere on the side of Interstate 5.

Next one "on the mat", the NS400R, 2 stroke V- triple .... But, since this is a VFR forum, ill refrain from posting any more pics and updates on this one.

Mechanic's Garage or Anything Goes. Hell, post in the 1st Gen forum. I'd like to see it.

There's a lot of hardware similarities, so it's still good info, both sending and receiving.

Unless you are going to be also posting on a NS forum. I've done multiple posts before. It's time consuming.

The NS forum is all but dead and inactive, so I won't be posting there.

That's what I don't want to happen to 1st Gen. So keep the eyeballs here maybe.

1st Gen on VFRD is tumbleweeds, I used to post more over there. Prob why it's slow now. :)

Oh and FaceBook has done it's damage. I absolutely REFUSE.
