I purchased my 2015 Vfr 800, brand new, last year. I have already put 20,000 miles on it and am wondering when I should be looking at doing a valve adjustment. I've read varying opinions about this so I'm curious what the consensus is. I'm running an Akropovich slip on and a PW5 with auto tune, if it matters. Thanks for the input.

I recently read someone saying that they waited until 60k and didn't have to adjust anything. There isn't any shops close to me that have any experience with v-tecs, so I'm definitely dreading it.

    Haven’t checked at 66+K on my 02
Talked to a Honda trained mechanic and he said he’s done around 12 with no adjustments needed.
    $800+ at a shop.
Was told to save my money if there’s no noise and runs strong.

I would be getting worried then,as the valves close up and will get quieter. :bruce2:
