Selling a Sargent World Sport 2 piece seat for 5th Gen. It's in near-new condition, black w/yellow piping which is a nice contrast on a red bike as well. Price $225 + shpg.

Does it fit on a 4th generation? If so will buy, but do you know? I will start investigating myself. Where are you located; I'm in southern California.

My guess would be that it doesn't but maybe I'm wrong. It shouldn't be too difficult to get an answer. I'm in PA but it shouldn't be very expensive to ship. I just sent 2 wheels to Calif. for $46.

I didn't think so; now I know for sure. The frame was changed and the seat as well.

    I'm a little confused...
My bike has an aftermarket seat, but one piece. What is the rationale for having two pieces, and how does it attach?

Also, is it usable with and without the cover (what the hell is the name of the painted piece which covers the back section of the seat, anyway? Senior moment!)

That's a good question. I'd refer you to Sargent's Website, that might shed some light. I'm quite sure the rear ''cowl'' will fit over the seat, but I'll check. I'm helping a friend part out his bike.

Does he have the front sub-frame? How about the clutch master cylinder?

I'm waiting for someone from Seattle to PayPal me. Was supposed to do it yesterday. I'm feeling Seller's Remorse at $225. It's $400-something from Sargent + shipping and this seat is like new. $250 and it's yours. Shipping to Seattle was $35; should be the same to Cali. So $285 My PP is: Lewmoto@verizon.net
