Sold my 1998 back in 2014 and bought and rode a Blackbird since June of this year along with some other bikes . I put over a 100000 miles on that VFR and it ran like a champ. Well I have a few other bikes and thinning out the herd but this came along. With only 33000 miles on it, I brought it home. Going thru it now but it’s in really good shape. I always felt that most people who own VFR’s take care of them, turned 70 this year and previous owner in his mid sixties . Always wanted to try a CBR600 but most that I looked at were thrashed by the younger owners . The wife says to continue thinning the Collection , but this one stays. Luv these bikes . Stay Safe out there.

I too had a 5th Gen. Bought it new in '99. I love all VFRs, but that Gen was the last one with the gear driven cams. Congratulations on the old / new acquisition. I agree on needing to see pictures though ...
