I’ve been looking at ways to cure the snap throttle or jerky throttle at low RPMs. I have a power commander III but it came with the bike and I don’t have a PC (Mac user) so I can’t change the settings. On Revzilla they have the G2 throttle tamer and due to how it pulls in a non linear way it’s suppose cure the jerky throttle. I was hoping someone has tried this item and had any luck with it? My last bike was an 05’ CBR600RR and I never noticed this problem but with the VFR it’s very annoying. Any little turn of the throttle and it’s off to the races.
Also while your here what do you guys think of the Nexx WST2 helmet?

You already have what you need with the PCIII. Take it to a dyno tuner and have them clean up the fueling.

The G2 was a popular fix on some FJR's, and some just took an OEM throttle cam and filed it to ease that initial pull.

I installed the G2 throttle tamer and it does make a Noticeable difference but the snap throttle is still present. Tightening the chain helped too. Worth the $80? Probably.

If you have a friend or family member who has a PC, you can find a tune and install it pretty easy. It'll save you 80$ and will completely get rid of the choppiness.

Looked into the throttle tamer and determined that what I was actually looking for is the quick throttle from G2. Just ordered one for my 5th gen VFR.
