Starting to fill-in all the front suspension & wheel mechanicals (left side is almost done) , and I will also begin to define the detail on the various radiators (3). Rear suspension/swing arm area will be last. Then I have to go over it all again to see what I missed (like painting the tear-off tab for Rossi's visor and various other subtle details and shadings that I see every time I look at it)

In airbrush i go light to dark and build up layers till the desired color depth is reached. How do you find your depth in colors?

Light to dark typically, however I also factor in the depth issue. So for example with the front of the bike, ill do the rad area first, then do the forks and brakes. With the intricate areas like that it seems to work well for giving the depth im looking for.

Even after going light to dark, I typically go back a while later and add hi lights and shade where I see that I need a bit more definition.

Looking really good, I wish I had some talent in the art world. I'll just have to settle for being handsome.
