Looks like it will be awesome.
Very envious of the shop and talents it takes to fill it.

At some point I think there will have to be a road trip.
I think you said your in the North Bay area. Only a 5 hr road trip and I have a buddy that lives there.
I have at least one other friend that would be interested in making that trip.

Hay is on my list too. The fields are ready once the thunderstorms stop.

Sure thing Paul. Once we get past this COVID19 mess you'd be welcome.

Baling today and tomorrow, then ill be waiting a few days until the threat of rain passes again.

250 Acres here of which I hay half of it. (rest is bush/forest). I typically do ~1000 square bales and the rest in Round bales (just got myself a round baler so this my first year round baling, before now I had someone else come in and take off what I didnt need).

I can remember as a teen ager, going to my cousin's farm in Southwest Manitoba near south Oak Lake, and doing haying and bailing of straw like this photo depicts. A full day of that is a good day's work. Back then, we never fought with the farm boys who arrived at school in a school bus.

Back on topic, l am looking forward to seeing the end result. But along the path to completion, would also enjoy pix of the continuing project.

lots left to do, id guess another 2 hours just to finish the tires alone (not including the wheel rims).

So. When will be the first Annual SMRM BBQ? I don't know what part of Canada you are in but if I can go from Chilliwack to Atascadero Ca for a BBQ, I am sure I can make it to your BBQ at least once.

Sounds like we need to organize a road trip from Southern Ont for a BBQ in the fall maybe..... I would be in and at least another VFR owner that I can think of.

Hmmm. We seem to have started a serious discussion on this now. I will have yo start softening up to the Captain of my ship here. A fall time trip can cause one to run into weather concerns traversing the mountains but I have been there before. Fall time in the prairies is beautiful and I imagine southern Ontario is no difference. Even if the weather turns sour, I do have family in Winnipeg I can hunker down to ride out the foul weather. I can pack a extreme weather package for the wife to ship out in case of such an event.
