    Hi,
I used the bike on Sunday and had no issues. Going for a ride this morning and the speed keeps jumping around when it should be steady. It is also reading 10kph less than it should. So if I should be doing 80, it will show 70 but also jump down to 64, 66, 60 and then back to 70.... again I am doing a constant speed.
To top it all off, the Fi light came on when I was approx 200 yds from home.... balls...

    Any advice help will do.

    Bike is a 2007 VFR800 with 12,000km on it.

    Thanks in advance.

With FI light and speedo issues, I'd be looking for a ground connection issue and connection issues in general..... maybe The Drill?
But if speed sensor signals are erroneous, FI system might use those signals.... any stored FI codes?

I think this is probably going to be the problem. It is just that it has failed after only 12,000km.

There were no codes before this. Everything on the bike was running fine.

Just taken the speedo sensor off. The nylon nut, is not complete. The middle part is bare with metal sticking out. All the pictures I see of this shows it as completely covered.
I will order a new nylon nut and hopefully this will fix my little problem.
