6th Gen. Pipes on 3rd Gen ?

Whats the consenus?

Anyone seen VFR800 dual pipes on a 3rd Gen 750? Aftermarket or stock
I like the Scorpion Carbon Pipes for the 6th Gen.
Got a good lead on them for LESS than 1/2 the MSRP

What would it take?
Seems like just fabing up a mid and link pipe.
Then just the right placement (underseat or dual highmounts)

Any ideas / suggestions?

 

Rather than fabbing up a mid pipe, I'd be interested in whether the stainless head pipes off one of these bikes could be used as well as the tail section. I know that the 02 sensors would need to be removed and plugged, but is there any reason that the whole ball of wax couldn't be used??

Good idea though - anyone shed light on this?
