Colorado trip -- Sept 2020

The Walden Loop is something I definitely want to check out.

Here are two different "improvised Walden Loop" routes.

As you can see, there is not much time difference between the two – although one is about 50 miles longer.

Where are you guys located? Denver? Colorado Springs?

What would be a good meeting point for everyone?


I will be camping – and moving around, night to night – so I am flexible on location/time.

Igrok, why not take hwy 40 and go over Berthoud Pass through WP and Fraser? It's a fun pass and would shorten the loop.

From the responses on the post, it seems most people interested in a ride live in/near Denver.

That sound right?

If so... how about meeting up somewhere West of Denver to start the Walden Loop ride?

This should help accommodate those coming in from Co.Springs, correct?

Maybe ... meet in/near Idaho Springs?

I'm out in Castle Rock and I'm free from Sunday thru Saturday if anyone is interested in riding this weekend/ next week
