DBE653F3-05D7-4C1E-AC5F-0FE0F379FE2E.gif Just wondered if there would be an option to have different flags for each of the Uk. I.e Scotland England Northern Ireland and Wales. I’m sure there will be members of each of the countries on this site and I’m sure even in person we would all get along. But those in the U.S. and Canada have different flags Would be nice if we could have the Scottish Saltire and the English St Georges Cross.
    Just a small suggestion

I think the flag displayed beside your posts is determined by your IP address so probably a function of the underlying forum software which we are stuck with.

Certainly the posts made while I was over on the Isle of Man popped up with the Manx Triskelion (three legged man flag), but now I am back in the Alps my post show France.

I really should have checked what happened to posts when I visited ScubaLong in LA indeed whether VFRWorld is secretly funded by the CIA and tracking our every move and spotted our trip over the border to Baja in Mexico :Spy:.

I am not sure if the folks in Wales have spotted that they don't even merit any flag with their posts? :potstirrer1:

Quit stirring up shit!:potstirrer1:. I had noticed when I was travelling about down in the Excited Mistakes of Murikuh, the stars and stripes was displayed with my name so It does appear it is an automatic thing built into the platform in the last upgrade. I think the last platform was the same way.
Canada actually flew the Union Jack up until around 1965 or so when Canada finally designed and adopted a flag.

I did not know that was the origin of the Union Jack. That's for the lesson. It was interesting.
