I am new here at VFRWORLD, i have read through several of the post and i just love the site. I have a 1987 Honda VFR700F2. I am currently in the process of rebuilding my faithful companion. My plan is below as well as questions..so please HELP WHERE YOU CAN..also posted some pics.

    - CBR F2 / F3 CONVERSION (still trying decide on model) A great step by step at hondavfr.org. they go into doing both front and back

    - 520 chain converstion for the extra acceleration..(dont need it, but would be great to have.)

    - after reading post, going to try F2 sport fairings (custom paint, copperhead color)

-DynoJet ( can anyone give directions on how to install)

-Polishing frame ( great step by step..just search "MOTORCYCLE POLISHING" with goggle)

    -EBC Brakes all around

    - 4-2-1 exhaust ( laser has exhaust for VF750, would those fit VFR700F2, if not can someone suggest a 4-2-1 exhaust system????)

    - custom solo seat..(saw a post on here about CBR900 seat, but no picture, can anyone explain how this is achieved.???)

and various out upgrades and modifications....but the ones listed are the major ones...If anyone can give suggestions on quesitons asked, i would greatly appreciate it. i will post pictures later..BUT basically its the frame and the engine and a box full of parts.

Yeah that was one of the tail sections i was interested in. but I found the information on here under one of the post. it was a link to and ebay page, but the page didnt have any pics on there. but in the description of the bike, it was a 87vfr700 f2 with a 1994 CBR900RR tail section. If i can get my hands on that, i found another tutorial on how to make the actual seat. Gives a step by step on that also. if interested i have to get the link and post it later. It doesnt look hard. It was from a streetfighter website. but it gives the basics.

I'd steer clear of the Dynojoke and go with a Factory kit. Lots more jets and way better quality.

as far as seat goes, a post was said that maybe the CBR900RR subframe was modified to fit the VFR. i assume they are close in design. if anyone wanted to add a race tail to thier VIFFER. I will continue to research that one though.
