Handle bar risers

First off , apologies if this question has been beaten to death . Not completely forum/computer savvy.
I’m new to the forum and am looking for a relatively cheap way to raise my handle bars a bit. I have had a couple of significant wrist injuries and would like to take a little more strain off my wrist. I have been searching but can’t seem to find bar risers for a 2003 VFR 800. I can buy Heli Bars but think I would like to try the Gen Mar or equivalent style of riser. Any link or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I made these for my Gen 5 using a couple of Harley indicator mounts! They don't lift the 'bars by much (..maybe 15mm) but they do change the relationship between your arms and your legs/seating-position. Dropping the yokes a little also has the effect of quickening the steering. They bear no load; they're merely spacers.

The bike's taken me on a camping tour of the (UK) Lake District, and a few laps of the TT course with these in place, without issue - but if you make your own, use them at your own risk. (..I'd say the same about any mods to the steering or braking system on a bike).

Cheap as chips @ around £10.00 GBP!

aren't 2003 forks 43mm?

gen 5's have 41mm forks, gen 6 has 43mm. those spacers won't fit a gen 6
