Do Gen 6 have a Fuel Filter?

I have a new to me 2007 RWB. Do Gen 6 have a fuel filter? My Gen 3 had one, but I can't find anything in the owner's or service manual about a fuel filter on the Gen 6.

Have only had if a few weeks, so I haven't removed any fairings or lifted the tank yet.

Nevermind... But FYI for anyone else.

 

Soooo much easier than an SV650. Be sure to change that gasket for the gas tank too.

I looked through the service manual and I didn't see a service interval. I looked in the scheduled maintenance section as well as looking through the fuel system chapter. I would say replacing at 50K miles wouldn't hurt.

 

From other Hondas like ST1300 (those guys put on the miles), same filter is used, sometimes has some grit in it but rarely plugged. If you have any doubts or there was rust in the tank once upon a time, then slip a new one in there...

 

Ha ha...I have an ST1300 as well...I love it!

The filter is 60+

 

Personally, if the tank is in good condition & no sign of bits floating around or rust visible then save your money.
