Hi Flya750, You will love it either way, I actually had the baffle in and out over about 6 weeks before deciding to leave it out, mind you it was only in for probably 6 days in those 6 weeks. I tried it on some longer highway speed runs with baffle out to see if a drone or annoying but its fine. I checked with the neighbours if it annoyed them in the morning and they said its fine, they know they are running late.... It is a simple Circlip to remove so not an issue. Either way I think you will be happy. For looks the Arrow with Carbon tip would be a very close 2nd IMO. The quality is exceptional.

The fueling isn't bad out of the box, and is better than my 04 VFR was stock. The PCV does smooth things out and eliminates any compromises Honda had to make to satisfy noise/emissions....etc.

0B789B2D-8424-4BCA-B570-DE8AD0903A19.jpeg I wonder if this HP Corse exhaust for the Honda Crossrunner will fit...sure looks like it as even peg mounts look the same as a VFR & I am sure the cat is the same.

Something I noticed while researching a slip on for my 8th gen was that the youtube video's sound nothing like the real thing.
I've got reasonable speakers on my PC (swan M50 2.1). Listening to video's of the Akrapovic and comparing them to the real thing, chalk and cheese. The real akra sound a heck of a lot better.

I have heard the 2 brothers, Akra and one of the Delks, not sure which one it was, but imho, the Akra has the best sound, the Delk was second.

Power wise, the Akra claim's +3kw compared to the Delk's +3hp, a lot of extra money to pay I know for the smidgeon of extra power, plus the build quality is excellent. The Delk I saw looked pretty good though.

Another reason I picked the Akra is because it has an Aust ADR approval.

I think the Two Brothers sounds pretty good. It looks good and my bags stay cool. 4A746F8C-9DE4-49F3-B926-8987D3F342C9.jpeg

So curious, since in this thread you all have 8th gens and talking about exhausts. Is PCV necessary when switching from OEM to Aftermarket Exhaust? What about going from OEM to Akrapovic? Its my understanding the Akrapovic was an OEM option, so I would think it doesn’t require PCV. Why doesn’t the Akrapovic come up in these exhaust discussions more, is it too much for too little?

IMO a PCV is not needed for slipon only, there's limited options for full exhaust for this bike, no harm in using a PCV but not a lot of benefit IMO without full exhaust on any bike. The Akra is visually bigger than I wanted, I went with the Arrow and am very happy with the looks, sound (insert out), and it fits well with the Honda bags.
