    Thanks for posting that... there was a similar vid for the CBF1000. I have to make spares for it....

    my pleasure, we were just discussing this on our recent trip as we only have one key for the 09 and I almost dropped it where it would be really difficult to get back, scared the crap out of me lol

    We just ordered id46 blanks from aliexpress

    Thanks..... I have my chips and blank keys from AliExpress also for the CBF.... the guy that cut my keys didn't quite get it right, have to get that redone unless I can find the teeny detail cutting flaw that will make these work ....

    sometimes it's the shoulder closest to the head where you grab. if they cut it in it sometimes doesn't let the key go in far enough

    I hate that, I took my bike with me to get new keys for my cb600f and he had to make several adjustments.

    I broke a key today and came back to this thread. where are the hiss bikes, in europe only? my keys don't look like that

    I think the HISS system was sold into many world markets but not the US (and maybe they included their northern neighbours). Certainly my 09 ST1300 has the HISS system, as do the 6G VFRs, and I think most other larger Hondas sold locally.

    "Rest of World" got them, US did not have immobilizers, but wouldn't have started prior to Gen6 most likely. Yes the keys are very different, you'll need a proper blank for your bike.
