I bought the bike with 13k on it in non running sitting condition. I changed the fuel pump and all fluids, battery etc. The bike ran for somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 mins with a lot of white smoke that had no smell. Then started again without smoke and ran for another 5 mins, drove it up the street and it felt lethargic, then suddenly died and wouldnt crank again. The bike occasionally gives half a crank, but for the most part it doesnt turn. Right now my thoughts are that the injectors might be stuck open and hydrolocked it with gas. Any ideas on what it might be/what i could do?

That odorless white smoke was probably built up condensation from how you've explained it. No worries. As for her slowly dying and then only half a crank, check your voltage at the battery first. If good voltage, check any and all wiring connections (plugs) like the infamous 3 yellow wires at the stator and the plug going to your keyed ignition for corrosion or burnt signs. Bad grounds too, such as the blue plug bunch.

remove sparkplugs and it crank over to find out if it's hydrolocked, which is unlikely. otherwise your battery charge may be too low.

if your plugs are black, suspect an FI over-enrichment problem. check that plugs are sparking. dija replace or clean air filter ?

It turns out the cylinders were full of gas, i think my injectors are stuck open so im going to get those cleaned. Do you think it would be a good idea to change my fuel pressure regulator?

Injectors if "stuck open" is more likely the ECU telling them to stay open, need to check other sensor circuits, etc. that feed the ECU information. Not a fuel regulator problem. However, you can take the injectors to a place that tests and cleans them.

What sensors do i need to test? And could it be the ecu itself?

Wouldn't worry about the ECU at this point.... but it uses info from ambient temp, coolant temp, etc. to determine the mixture. A bad connection/short/corrosion/bad sensor could cause a false data point... ECU thinks it has to richen things up, engine floods. If all cylinders were full of gas, it's not likely all injectors would screw up at the same time, but maybe they could stand to be cleaned and flow tested.

Sorry for the late reply, it ended up being the fuel pressure regulator, the diaphragm was torn and was dumping gas through the vacuum lines to the two closest cylinders and flooding them. Bike is now running like a charm, thank you guys for the help.

Good on ya for finding it. I can't believe that thing failed at 13k..... some of these things just amaze me.
