Ok some of you know. 3 weeks ago I had a heart attack. Today is the first day I felt pretty good so what did I do???
Worked on my girl, removed the fender added the cowl and cleaned her up. Oh and went for a rider to my local shop to see my donor bike for my CBRf3 wheel swap. It was only in the 40's today Cleared my head!!!!

I can't remember this being discussed before... will the tach from an analog 86 properly accept a signal from the digital 87 VFR?

Is your friend's VFR an 87 too?

Glad to hear you are recovering. Hopefully, you make a complete recovery and don't have any future issues. Moto is looking sharp.

    No it's a 2002.
I figure if you can use a mini tach on any bike by just wrapping a wire around a spark plug..... how different can digital ignition or analog be. It's still an electrical impulse right? Didn't you do a gauge swap on the 1000 to and newer CBR or were they both analog? Somehow I wanna change them.
