I would like to mount a front end of a RC24 88 89 with its brakes and upper deck but leaving my wheel of 16 rc24 86 87, is it feasible?

You would have to space the rotors out approx 5.5mm but the rotor bolts are shouldered and wouldn't engage the wheel properly then.

    I tried installing a 86 RC24 wheel on a 84 VF750 and ran into that.

Are you trying to maintain this for legal reasons?
