Sounds like a good decision but will it be a VFR? LOL

I wish. I have an injury that keeps me from riding unless sitting upright.

I have a 1999 VFR that I have owned since 2004 and ridden her many miles and places. November of 2016 I bought a BMW K1600GTL used with 3900 miles. Its an AMAZING machine. Nevertheless the VFR just sits in storage now. I have thought about selling but she so pretty. Polished rims, Staitune high-rise, seargent seat, etc. But,I think its time as well to sell. Sniffles

I'm in my 60s now, and every now and again SWMBO sez I need to be careful while riding.

    I consider selling Ole Yeller.

And then I go out for a fast, peg dragging ride.

And then I keep the bike one more year :).

    Ahhhh!
