    Hello,

I want to buy new brakepads for my vfr750 95.
What do you use for brand and type.
I am thinking of Brembo sintered pads...

Honda OEM. They last a long time (I don't use the brakes much) and they'll lock up either wheel.

After all I ordered sintered pads from Brembo.
I like them a lot. Good bite even not braked in yet.
How much Km is normal for brakepads?
    It depends offcourse...

I installed my front wheel with a new tire last night and my pads, with 16K miles on them look close to brand new. Honda's owner's manual actually recommends engine braking, I do, and, in the twisties, I seldom use either front brakes very hard and lightly on the rear now and then. The rear brake can be very useful when doing a 180 degree switchback while maintaining stability. Brakes are for kids, LOL.......

OEM brakes work just fine with no quality problems.

I think the VFR is very hard braking when engine braking. So hard braking with the Brakes is only nessecary when you come from a very high speed.
Or something is ging wrong offcourse.

Very true compared to an in-line four.
