Hey all. It is getting harder and harder to find folks to ride with. I'm mostly on the track (Let me know if you want to join in the fun. I'm a coach with N2td.org.), but do get out to the NC/TN mountains and for some local riding on the VFR and the CB-1.
Aside from wishing that it were not four hours from Charlotte, I love running there. It is a great learning/instructing track. Plenty of run off. Very wide so that a rider can explore different lines and recover from mistakes easily while staying on the tarmac. Occasionally, it will get run in reverse (counter clockwise) which is also a hoot.
I’m actually in Huntersville and feel the exact same way. I need to get my tags renewed and I’ll reach out for a meet up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Moved to Gastonia and just got a 2nd gen VFR My track bike is the RS125. New to this NC riding I'm in on a ride
Sounds good. I'm on two wheels for part of nearly every weekend either in the mountains, at the track, or just out for a local Charlotte ride. I even took the VFR for a few laps at CMP a few weeks back.
CMP is getting a repave in 2020 (not sure what month yet) and NC bike is having some work done on turns 5/6 and will be able to safely accommodate CCW in 2020 also. Its a great time for the sport.
