I did it, just bought an '06 new off the floor. First one. I love it, it is the smoothest bike I have ever owned. Got it out of dallas, Black Pearl. Anyone have any mods that are cheap and will help with it. (it is already pretty much perfect). Thanks. I am looking at tank bags, anyone have one that looks great and are medium sized, send pictures and where you got it I want to start accessorizing it. Tank bag, first. Would like to see how they look on the bikes before I go to cyclegear or sportouring.com and buy. Thanks alot.
    John. I Love the VFR!!!!!!

Where did you get your bike and how much? I paid $8,500 before ttl at Al Lamb's. I just use a Cortech tank bag from my old bike.

I got my bike from Burger's in New Jersey for around $6,500 with the remainder of the Honda warranty intact, in 2006 with 800 miles. I now have around 2,500 miles on it now and around $5,700 invested in customizations. It came with the chrome rims. I added the Pirelli Diablos for a stickier ride. They are awesome and provide great traction. The bags I got on eBay for around $400 in spanking new condition from a guy who wrecked his bike, but the bags were not on it. I

I like the VFR in black. I think you should "Pimp it out" if you can. It might be the last bike you ever own, or you may keep it and just add another bike to your collection.

By the way, is that sliders I see your bike? Did you do it yourself, or did it come like that? Does the modification to the coolant bottle void your warranty? I want sliders bad, but I am worried about the remainder of my warranty.

They are RG sliders and come with a modified coolant bottle. I actually had
a honda dealer install them for me. I didn't feel confident drilling the fairings. It should be about 1 to 1 1/2 hours of labor charge.

Same place, Out the door 9000. I think that makes it around $8300 plus TTL. when did you get yours? Best deal I could find in State of Texas. Looking at a Tourmaster courtech mini magnetic tank bag. Cyclegear.com.

Check these bags. It is a good price. I found it on eBay. I paid $400.00, but maybe you can make a deal with the seller. He wants $800.00. Normally, they cost $1,000. Check it out! Also, I found another set for $749.00. Either way, you will have to get them painted.

Like the Bike, already putting @ 400 miles in 5 days. Like I said before, Smoothest bike I have ever owned. I am really going to enjoy this thing. I was wondering if the GIVI bags were good quality? I know they are much easier on the wallet, and if they look good on the bike? Does anyone have any?

Sounds like you didn't check all of Texas. I know many leave out El Paso when thinking about Texas : ( but I got my '06 at Mr. Motorcycle in El Paso for $7999 + TTL, $8500 out the door.

Checked it but didn't want to drive around 700 miles round trip to save 500 dollars (maybe). El paso is out due to distance. anyhow, like the white one. Pearl flake looks good in the sun don't it.
