Is it the same bike ? Yes, since 02 - so as an educated guess what do you think ?

    Don't really appreciate your attitude...

I heard that after 05 they changed the hole size and some drilling was required. A simple yes or no would have sufficed.

    LIGHTEN UP,
if he knew the answer he probably wouldn't have asked.
We all come to this forum looking for help and guidance sometimes.
Remember there is no such thing as a stupid question only stupid answers of which yours is a perfect example
Jason i apologize for Rogues cavalier answer to your question.

and the answer is the 02 to 07 bikes only changed in cosmetics, paint schemes, and vtec transition point, a software change,
    So they should fit.
    but who knows with Honda

Thank you DANIMAL, being new to it all I had no idea since everywhere that sells them they say "06" only or "05" only... guess its because of the color.

    Cheers

Jason, the bags themselves will be the same, apart from the colour as you know. If there is any difference it'll be in the mounting kit, although I doubt it very much. If there IS a difference it'll probably only be in a hole size, as you mentioned. Personally, I'd go for it and enlarge the hole if needed.

    Hi Jason

yes the bags will fit. i hope you got them for a good price
i may still have installation instuctions kicking around somewhere if your set didn't come with any. you do have to enlarge a few holes. other than that striaght forward to install.

Ok, so perhaps I was a little harsh, but after all, it is the same bike so how different could it possibly be ? It's not like it's a performance part or a CDi or something like that. Since I'm clearly uneducated, how about you explain which holes need to be enlarged ?

I do disagree with Danimal though, there are PLENTY of stupid questions..

    Gee Rogue,
you don't know which holes need to be enlarged? how many holes can there be on the mounts for the luggage?
you validate my point beautifully with that question.
No one knows everything. and asking is the only way to find out
    Peace bro

Chomper perhaps you could tell us all which holes need to be enlarged?

Danimal....I need to get me some of those hairballs on fire..........

enlarged holes... hmm... not sure if i want to go there.........

2 holes in back fender and one on each of the brackets that hold passsanger foot rest, cant remember what size but not much larger than original size. givi make them for honda, i think. holes never lined up that well for me especially under the grab rails needed a little persuation. recommend you leave all bolts loose then go back and re tighten.

Mostly when you "enlarge" those holes your scraping the paint out. I didn't even use a drill bit, just a round file.

Further postings confirm my original point..

Seems that it's just a matter of "fettling" the original holes as I doubt that Honda changed such a minor detail halfway through a bikes lifetime.
Therefore, as in the original post , yes they will fit, unless you have a bike with excessive paint in the holes or slight manufacturing variances in which case you'd have to do the clean up to fit 02, 03 or 07 luggage anyway.
