    Hi,
so i took my front fork tubes apart to change my dustseals and so.

I put it all together just like one can see in service manual and now my rebound screw does not have a stop when screw clockwise(harder) but i have the stop when turning screw anticlockwise(soft).

I did not do anything at all with the rebound package, its really strange.

What have gone wrong for me?

    someone have an idea?

Can someone be so kind to give me how many turns there is from soft to hard so i can adjust the rebound please.

    Thanks

I'n no 8th gen expert but I have had VTR1000 forks apart many times, same sort of rebound adjuster. Where the needle bottoms out (fully closed) is set by the position of the fork cap screwed down onto the rebound rod. If your needle is not bottoming then I'd suggest you have not wound the fork cap down far enough before you tighten the locknut.

I'd suggest you do the following, starting the with the fork cap removed from the damper rod:
Wind the needle in the cap down to a fully closed position; something like 2-2.5 turns down from fully out, or until the screw head is flush with the top of the cap.
Install the fork cap and wind it down the rod until the needle bottoms LIGHTLY in the valve mechanism.
Hold the fork cap still, back out the screw 1 turn, tighten the locknut. (I do that so tightening the locknut doesn't pull the needle harder into its seat and cause damage).
This should set the fork cap position so you have 2 turns between full open and fully closed.

Thank you very much for your answer, quick and correct

"Install the fork cap and wind it down the rod until the needle bottoms LIGHTLY in the valve mechanism."

That was indeed the procedure i missed when i installed it.....

Now i have the stop on both left and right turn of adjuster screw.

    Thanks
    edit: spelling....
