    Yes.
    I have the same for my 2000. Except I purchased the X-grip separately and went with a SW-Motech stem mount. Same basic thing, but the SW-Motech one is just much better than the RAM.

    phones are too distracting and compromise safety on a bike. leave it at home. nobody wants to call you anyway.

    Yeah, I just looked that one up and it's pretty sweet. So they are compatible then if I buy the X-grip and the SW-Motech?

    Yes.
    The RAM ball/arm system (as used on the X-Grip) is pretty much an industry standard and the SW-Motech parts are specifically made to fit that system.
    It's easy to fit, rock solid and very discrete when the X-Grip is not mounted.
