Need a rearset for my bike

I have a 2002 VFR800 and I am looking for a set of rearsets. I am going to the track in april and I want to get pegs that will not drag. I hope someone can help. I have searched through this site, and the forums have produced more questions than answers. Thanks for your help!

    Hello,

My Motorcycle Shop (MaxPower Performance Cycles) Put on CBR1000RR 2005 Vortex rearsets and got the base plate made to fit the VFR800.
They could get the base plates made again for you and suppliey the Rearsets.
As the fabricator allready has it on file.

Call them on 024285 9793, sales@mppcycles.com.au They will give you all the Information,

No one said its impossible to not drag pegs, the whole purpose is to have them higher to allow more clearance in a lean. i can drag the stock pegs on the VFR but i can get away with not doing the same on my gixxer 750 because pegs are mounted much higher allowing deeper lean angles.

Wow, they have been holding on to those for almost 10 years!

Ugh, turns out they sent me the wrong set so they didn't fit. They then sent one plate that would however couldn't find the other side so now I'm having to return all the plates and (hopefully) get a refund. I already missed out on putting the rearsets on for my brother-in-law's track day so this is just rubbing salt into the wound :(

MaxPower Performance Motorcycles no longer exist as they are now MaxPower RC Cars and don't deal with motorcycles anymore.

Anyone else know where I can get base plates to adapt to CBR1000RR rearsets?

I too have been looking for a rear set, but at that price, I'll definitely keep riding with a bent left rear set. Too rich for my cheap self. lol

I did this on another bike, non-VFR, but I just made an adapter plate out of aluminum plate from HomeDepot to relocate the stock pegs up and back.
