I've searched and searched, talked to multiple dealers, and cannot for the life of me find the bracket for where the bolt I'm pointing at goes into. It's just magically not in any of the parts diagrams I've looked at.

I bought this bike wrecked and in a few pieces, I've got it running like a champ and I'm getting to the point that I can replaced the poorly painted and badly rashed fairings. It's currently going into a bent piece of galvanized ducting (it works, but it's just not quite right)

    Any ideas?

Yeah, this one is a bit further back and attaches directly to the lower cowl/side fairing piece. Fortunately the bike has #10 on it! I've had some guessing about it being part of the inner cowl before, and removed the front and didn't see anything obviously missing from the assembly. I've stared at some youtube videos and paused when you could see this bit of the bike. It appears to come off the frame (which is where my improvised bracket is bolted to.)

Found a bag o' parts that looks like it might have the missing bracket in it. A part number would be great, but I'll live with just having the blasted thing! I'll try to update with a pic of the bit if it fits.

I’m pretty sure it is as well but the parts fiche doesn’t make it look like it.
