I have heard many people talk about the extreme expense of a valve adjustment at 16,000 miles. However, I just had it done at the Honda Shop in Crossville, TN, and they did a great job. When I asked around at other Honda shops I was quoted over 600 to do the job. When I asked them the quote was only 210 plus tax. So, if you need a valve job around the Crossville, TN area, I strongly recommend them.

just be sure they realize its a vtech..I have run into lotsa shops that give a price based on a normal valve check, not having ever done a vtech. Not very common in a lot of places...Not saying your price aint right, but something to be aware of...have had it happen to friends..

I made sure twice that they knew I was talking about a vtech, and all they said was 210 plus tax and 7 bucks a shim if they have to change any.
