    Hi everyone

My regular riding crew has dwindled so much that I am way too often riding alone. For two years now, I've hoped to take and overnight ride somewhere, but would much prefer to do it with some other riders. I'm fairly open to where we ride. I'm not a hooligan, but do enjoy a spirited tour when the conditions permit to do so "safely".

I'm in the greater Montreal area, but can easily get to Ottawa or Vermont/New York, etc...

I'm on vacation from the 6th of August for a week. That's the ideal time.

Come do the Duffy Lak Loop with BCA1 and I next Wednesday. You should be able to get here by then. Eight days is plenty to get to Vancouver from Montreal. I would love to ride your area sometime before I leave this earth. But I don't think the bike is going to last long enough for me to make the decision to do so. The Gaspe would be a grand place to ride I think. Of course, I would just have to visit Old Quebec City too. Viewing all that old architecture there would give me a permanent hardon.

Montreal has unique, beautiful hidden alleyways .

It's actually looking pretty good that I will head to ile d'orleans (Orleans Island) 3.5 hours from here with some scenic roads. (Chemin du roi - Route of the King) as well as through the town of Trois Rivieres (Three Rivers) which is quaint and a min point stop for lunch. Then once there there are waterfalls and bicycle tours all over the scenic place. There will be no other riders but my wife will come along for the first time long distance trip. Now I have to go buy her a new helmet!

Gaspe might be the next trip, little further away (7+ hours). Then the Cabot Trail out east...

Hello, like you our small group (SMCC) has been dwindling but we are dedicated to getting out as much as possible, usually Sundays. We explore QC, Vermont and NY States (Tracy Road is amazing) racking up about 500kms per ride. We are not hooligans either but do enjoy the twisties at a good pace. We ride all sorts of bikes, mine is a VFR but others include Yamaha and BMW. We are all "seniors" so very experienced! We have been doing a 3 day tour in late June touring NY, VT and a little MASS. On Sundays we meet at La Belle Province on Sources Blvd, DDO at nine.

That sounds like just the type of riding I like to do. Thank you for writing. I know that Belle Province well. 9am sounds perfect. I will try and be there.

If interested a few of us will be meeting at La Belle Province around 9:30(corner of Sources & Hymus) as this Sunday's forecast is looking pretty good!

Thank you for the invite. Unfortunately, being Easter Sunday and all, I won't be able to make it. However, the next nice Sunday I will definitely be heading out o meet you all. Look for me on a white VFR 8th Gen. Might even be with my buddy and his Triumph.

Is there any site that you guys discuss on about the meet-up?

So I'll be looking to ride tomorrow. Will you guys be out there? Heard the flooding is pretty bad in the West Island?

So, guys are wondering what we did/said? Just kidding...did you find us on Yahoo Groups (SMCC2)? We've done a couple of great rides into New York and Vermont. My VFR is for sale as I decided to go to the so called " Sport Adventure Touring" type of bike. Bought myself a 2018 Suzuki V-Strom 650!

Hello again! Actually I did look you guys up and was very interested by the history. I've only been on one ride since (this passed Sunday). It's been a tough year for me. I will definitely meet up with you guys again, but with 4 kids, it's not easy! ;)

    Stay safe!
