Just picked up a 98

Hey everyone,

Just picked up this 98 with roughly 16k on the odometer. Found it on craigslist in SoCal close to where I used to live for $2700. After reading so many good things about these years I didnt really hesitate once I had my buddies go check it out.

I was looking for something sporty but not a sport bike, mainly to do some longer trips on and would be more fun on the road than my XR650L. Still keeping the XR for the dirt and just to have a different bike for around town.

Right now its at my friends house, just need to fly down and ride back home. At least he sent me pics so I can set it as my desktop background in the mean time...

Thanks everyone. It was a good deal. Turns out Im not allowed to have anything nice as my buddy who was storing dropped it...

Hes obviously going to replace it but I know you cant find an OEM one at this point
