Denali Split SoundBomb Horn - 8th Gen

Hi,

Has anyone fitted a Denali Split SoundBomb horn to their 8th Gen / RC79 / 2014+?

If so, where did you mount the two pieces?

No, but I'd love to know if anyone finds the space to uprate the standard Honda meeper on a 2014> !

 

I am thinking about getting a Honda OEM horn from a CRV. I worked at a Honda dealer for a year and I know they are much louder and same size. About $25.

 

Have had this around 7 years and is extremely loud.
Used Plummer’s tape and zip ties to mount on the upper left side fairing stay.
Harness is an extra $20 and had a shop install that, not to edumacated on electrical.

Was hoping not to have to cut anything on the bike, so it could go back to stock, but nevertheless, that is very helpful. Thank you!

 

I've been looking for a solution like this... you didn't have to cut any bodywork?

 

I'm also wondering about fitting the New Screaming Banshee on my 8th Gen.
