I noticed that a few of the plastic fasteners have managed to work their way loose and are gone. I have been looking to see what is out there in the way of hardware kits. It seems that either nothing is made for 2014/15 or I am looking in the wrong place. I can find them for all years up to 2009 and that is it. Where do you folks look for parts? I love my 8th Gen and I find it hard to believe that there is nothing out there for it. 22815372_1705567159462675_7234481295980132255_n.jpg

Are you looking for plastic clips, or bolts?

If you are looking for the plastic clips, I'm sure that they were used on other Honda models. I would go through the effort of pulling up the parts fiche (if you can even find one), getting the part numbers for the bits you want to replace, and attempting to source them by doing a search of the models that match. The 8g VFR is a machine in the twilight of the model run and there is very little aftermarket support for them. There are gobs of stuff available for the 6g, see if you can match it up to that generation.

Here, allow me to get you started:

I know it sounds hard and time consuming, but that is the only way I know how to deal with it.

Like Norcalboy said, are you looking for the fairing clips. If so, there are a few aftermarket clips out there, that in my honest opinion for what ever that is worth, are a better design and far cheaper.

My choice for these clips are here. They also sell sets of bolts and stuff for our bikes.

I don't put the pins back in under the T-rex frame sliders. The fairing doesn't move anyway. Then no need to take off the sliders for oil changes.
