Well I thought I better take a look in here again as it has been a while

AND I did it again I sinned and bought another bike that's not a Honda

2015 ZX-14R Special edition with Ohlins rear shock , E.C.U reflashed (no limiter) more bottom end and mid range and Stupidly absurd top end

Pillion's do not even get noticed apart from wheelying a lot easier aver 100 MPH

I hope everyone here is well and yes I do still miss my Vfr an find myself looking at sales of them on line quite often

Those bikes always look stunning!

Is this in addition to the Tiger or a replacement? I suspect the Kwak could be quite a handful if you are still riding on rough gravel trails.

No the Tiger went as it was too much upright and it makes Tall people act like a sail which in strong crosswinds or uneven airflow from bigger vehicles making for a very tiring ride over long distances

The ZX14R puts you into a completely laminar airflow and with the double bubble screen and 1-3/4 inch bar risers it is just like a bigger toque laden VFR albeit with a bit more mass to push around at walking speed that totally disappears when moving

Remember I am 6'3" tall barefoot so it never seems too big as I imagine it could be for some

The kwak can be a bit of a shredder when it comes to rear tires though as in less than 1200 km's on a sports tire if pushed hard 2 up
and around 3600 km's 2 up on a Bridgestone T31 rear whilst express touring

But she does weigh 268 KG's all up weight ready to roll + my 120 kilo's + riding gear

 

Wowza, that looks like a weapon James! I could see myself on one of those.
