Lock Set and ignition between 3rd gen and 4th gen

My beloved '90 VFR was vandalized recently. I need a new ignition and lock set. As all 3rd gen owners know, this is a small world of hurt in 2018. I can probably get a hold of a complete set from a 4th gen (1994).

Does anyone have any knowledge if it will all fit? I took a look at the parts fiche and the lock set is numbered differently, but it's a little tough to say since it's a set which parts won't go over.

Technically, The gas cap and seat lock are ok, so I could get away with just replacing the ignition (oh, and my now damaged top triple clamp) but I'd really love to have one key for the set.

 

Would be nice to know. My ignition switch is worn out.

Apparently a cheap(ish) replacement is available, but that would naturally come with a different key.

I assume the 4th gen set is from a salvageyard, etc. That might have a worn out ignition switch..
